Barmer : A young man committed suicide by hanging himself on Thursday evening in a spa center located on Chauhtan Road in Barmer city of Rajasthan. On receiving information about the incident, Sadar police station reached the spot and took the body of the deceased into its custody and kept it in the mortuary of the government hospital. The body will be handed over to the relatives after post-mortem by the medical board on Friday.
Hanged in the room of spa center
Giving information about the incident, Barmer DSP Ramesh Kumar Sharma said that Prakash Singh (22) committed suicide by hanging himself in the room of a spa center located near Chauhtan intersection. After getting this information, Sadar police station has started investigating the matter. According to family members, the deceased used to run a spa center with someone. There is a possibility of dispute among the family members regarding some matter. The police are interrogating the close ones to collect evidence from the spot. On Friday, the post-mortem of the dead body will be conducted by the medical board, only after which further investigation will be done.
Family members accused girlfriend of murder
Regarding this matter, the family members of the deceased say that the young man had fallen into the trap of a girl named Jyoti. Jyoti runs many spa centers in Barmer city. There used to be fights at these spa centers every day. The deceased had stopped coming home and lived with Jyoti. The family tried to convince Prakash many times but Jyoti was blackmailing him, hence he was not coming home, when Jyoti tried to convince him, she threatened to implicate him in a false case.
On Thursday evening they got information that Prakash had committed suicide and when we reached the spot, we came to know that Prakash, Aman and Dharam Singh are partners in the spa centre. All three sat together and drank alcohol. During this, Prakash and Jyoti had an argument over the phone and the next day in the afternoon, Prakash committed suicide. When we reached the spot, no staff of the center was there. Everyone ran away, Jyoti is also missing, so we suspect that Prakash did not commit suicide. On this, the staff of the center and Jyoti beat him and hanged him in the afternoon.
