Sawai Madhopur : There was anger among the youth due to power cut in the villages of Wazirpur subdivision area. Dozens of young Sub Divisional Officers reached the office and submitted a memorandum to the SDM demanding a solution to the problem. The youth surrounded the office and staged a protest.
More than a dozen youth reached Wazirpur SDM office on Friday afternoon at Wazirpur subdivision headquarters. Where, under the leadership of Pintu Badoli, he submitted a memorandum to the Sub-Divisional Officer regarding the electricity problem and demanded a solution to the problem. Pintu Badoli and other youth alleged that the electricity supply of Meena Baroda, Badoli, Khedla, Vijaypura and other villages of Wazirpur subdivision area is cut off at night, due to which the education of children is being affected. Apart from this, theft and crimes in houses are increasing due to lack of lights in rural areas at night. Through the memorandum, a demand was made from the SDM that electricity supply should be done smoothly in the villages of the area at night.
After this, all the youth workers reached the Electricity Corporation office and surrounded the office regarding power cut. After this they protested by raising slogans. The Assistant Engineer assured the youth that like before, the electricity supply to the said village will remain smooth. After this, the anger of the youth subsided and the youth stood up from the strike.
