Sawai Madhopur : Baunli police station of the district, while taking action in town Baunli on Tuesday, arrested an accused in the case of molesting a girl. Baunli police station is continuously taking such action under the area domination campaign being run under the direction of IG Bharatpur Range.
Baunli police station ASI Roop Singh said – A case was registered on November 12, 2024 regarding molestation of a girl who had gone to cut grass in a village in Baunli police station area. In the case, the accused Om Prakash, son of Satyanarayan Meena, resident of Bauli police station area, was absconding. The team formed under the campaign arrested the accused Omprakash from town Baunli today and presented him in the court.
It is noteworthy that the victim had gone to work in a guava orchard and was doing agricultural work there. Meanwhile, the accused came and started molesting the girl and after saving herself, the girl ran away from the spot. After which the victim along with her family members reached Baunli police station and registered the case. However, the police station has produced the accused in the arrest office. At the same time, different police teams are raiding the areas for the arrest of other accused.
