Jaisalmer : Bhaniyana police station of Jaisalmer district arrested 1 youth while taking action against illegal weapons. Narpat Raj Suthar resident Jaloda Pokrana was caught in action during the blockade under the leadership of Bhaniyana police station in-charge Devaram. Two illegal single barrel cap guns were seized from Narpat’s possession. Along with this, the car used in transportation was also recovered. Bhaniyana police station in-charge Devaram said – 2 illegal guns have been recovered from the vehicle. Narpat is being interrogated regarding illegal weapons and the matter is being investigated.
It is noteworthy that under the direction of Inspector General of Police, Jodhpur Range, Jodhpur, a campaign is being run in Jaisalmer district against illegal weapons and illegal liquor and drugs. Under the campaign, as per the orders of District Superintendent of Police Jaisalmer Sudhir Chaudhary, maximum action is being taken against those smuggling illegal weapons and illegal liquor and drugs.

Bhaniyana SHO Devaram said – Every incoming and outgoing vehicle is being checked by blocking the Bhaniyana police station area. During this time, when an Alto car was searched, two illegal cap guns were recovered from the car. During interrogation, vehicle rider Narpat Raj son of Bhagaram Suthar, resident of Jaloda Pokrana could not give any satisfactory answer. In such a situation, the vehicle along with both the guns was also confiscated. A case of illegal weapons has been registered and investigation is going on regarding the weapons. Head Constable Ashok Kumar, Constable Banwarilal, Aidan Ram, Rakesh, Parbat Singh etc. were involved in the action against illegal weapons.
