Alwar : Alwar Youth Mahotsav was to be organized in every block from 30th November to 10th December by the Rajasthan Youth Board for the preservation and promotion of folk culture, art, science and technology of Rajasthan, but due to the indifference of the public representatives, a youth festival was to be organized in each block. The festival has also not started in the block because the public representatives are not giving time to participate in this event. There are 16 blocks in the district, but till now the programs have been scheduled only in 5 blocks. At the block level, it has been decided to organize the festival on 7th December in Govindgarh, 9th December in Malakheda, 9th December in Ramgarh, 10th December in Laxmangarh and 6th December in Umrain. Registrations have also reduced as per the target. 3600 participants are to be registered for the festival but till Sunday only 1668 registrations have been done.
Youth between 15 to 29 years can participate: Regional Coordinator of National Youth Festival, Sanjay Kaushik said that after the block level, there will be a one-day district level festival between 11th and 17th December. After this, a one-day youth festival will be organized at the divisional level from December 18 to December 25. To participate in the festival, youth will have to apply online. Youth between 15 to 29 years can participate in this. For more participation of youth in the Youth Mahotsav, for the first time, certificates, mementos and cash prizes will be given to the winners at all levels of block, district division, state and national level.
These will be the competitions
During the festival, digital fair, science projects, cultural competitions, group folk singing, group dance, solo folk singing, solo dance, painting and speech, handicrafts, agricultural products, endangered art of Rajasthan – Phad, Ravana Hattha, Algoja, There will be competitions of Ramal, Langa, Manganhar, Puppet, Khadtal, Mor Chang and Bhapang, digital skill video and reel graphics, photos from mobile etc. Flute Playing, Tabla, Harmonium, Yoga, Poster Making, Drama, Painting, Clay Making, Slogan Writing, Martial Arts, Classical Solo Singing, Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Group Discussion have been removed.
