Youth showed talent in Sriganganagar seminar and quiz competition

National Constitution Day was celebrated under the joint aegis of all four units of NSS at Sriganganagar : Dr. BR Ambedkar Government College, Sriganganagar. First of all the Preamble of the Constitution was repeated. In this context, Principal Professor Dr. Balwant Singh Chauhan said that the Constitution was prepared on this day. 26th November Constitution Day is a day of great pride for every Indian citizen. No country can run without a constitution. It is the Constitution that unites India’s 140 crore population of different religions and castes as one country. After this the Principal administered the oath to protect the Constitution. Professor Dr. Gopi Ram Sharma told about the Constitution and informed about the purpose of celebrating Constitution Day.

On this occasion, various competitions were organized in the college under the title ‘My Constitution, My Pride’. First of all a quiz competition was organized. In this, Khushboo Soni, Sagar, Khushpreet Kaur, Pawan Kumar were given awards to the successful participants. On the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution in India, an essay competition was organized on the topic Relevance of the thoughts of Dr. BR Ambedkar in the present scenario, with the aim of honoring the contribution of the makers of the Constitution. In this, the student securing first position will be given a prize of Rs 5100 at the district level and Rs 51 thousand if selected at the state level. Documentaries based on the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel were shown to the students.
