13 FIRs registered on illegal mining in Bhilwara

Bhilwara News Desk: A campaign was conducted from 18 to 25 November under the leadership of District Collector Namit Mehta against illegal mining/release/storage of minerals in Bhilwara district. Out of 75 cases, FIR was registered in 13 of them. 8 big machines and 36 other vehicles were seized.

Action taken from subdivision level Mineral Engineer Chandan Kumar said that under the action taken from the sub-division level, 5 cases of illegal mining/extraction and 3 vehicles were seized in the sub-division area Asind.

In Bhilwara subdivision, 12 cases were registered and JCB machine and 6 other vehicles were seized and FIR was registered in 2 cases. A case of illegal mining and section 177 was registered in Gangapur subdivision and a JCB machine was seized. Six cases were registered in Bijolia subdivision area and one JCB machine was seized.
