3 accused of online fraud arrested in Banswara district

Banswara : Kotwali police station of Banswara has arrested three accused of cheating in the name of online money transfer. CI Devi Lal said- The accused have been identified as 25-year-old Rahul Garasia, resident of Akashvani Colony, 19-year-old Nakul Pandya, resident of Neelam Nagar and 18-year-old Dheeraj Shakya. A complaint of fraud against the three was lodged on November 13 by Tina (38), wife of Bharat Singh. In the report, Tina said – The accused cheated me by scanning a fake app and transferring Rs 5,000.

However, the money was not transferred, although the transfer message came on the mobile. Investigation also revealed that the accused had committed similar fraud with other people like Rakesh Gupta, Ashok Kumar Jain and Deepesh Upadhyay. Police investigation revealed that the accused scanned the QR code using a fake app. Through this, money was defrauded but in reality the money was not transferred. The police took action and arrested the accused. The team included SI Ganga Ram, ASI Chandraveer Singh, constables Vishal, Sunil, Arvind and Bhupendra Singh.
