Bharatpur News Desk: Four earnest bike-riding students were hit by a private bus while going to college in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. In the accident, 3 died on the spot, while one seriously injured person died during treatment in Agra hospital.
The accident happened at 12 noon on Tuesday, four friends were overtaking a car on the same bike, when they were hit by a bus coming from the front. All the students were second year B.Sc Agriculture students in the same college. The incident took place near Jajam Patti in Magorra police station area of Mathura district. The four friends used to commute daily to college, 80 km away.
Magorra police station in-charge Inspector Mohit Tomar said – Ritesh (22), resident of village Nagla Madhpuria of Bayana tehsil of Bharatpur district, Mukul (21), resident of Shergarh village, Chetan (21) resident of Bharatpur and Ramkesh (23), resident of Pathanpada of Bayana, were on the same bike. Were coming from Bharatpur towards Mathura.
During this, an attempt was made to overtake an eco car with a bike 800 meters ahead of Jajam Patti police post. Then a private bus coming from Mathura hit the bike. Due to this, bike riders Ritesh, Chetan and Mukul died on the spot. Ramkesh was seriously injured. First sent him to the district hospital. When his condition became critical, he was referred to Agra, where he died during treatment.
