Jaipur : Jaipur On the first day of Pulse Polio campaign started in Rajasthan, 49.84 lakh children took the dose. Under this campaign, 46,887 polio booths were made in the state, where the campaign to administer doses was started. Now, for those children who are deprived of the doses, mobile teams will go door-to-door to administer the doses for two days. This campaign started under the supervision of Rajasthan Health Department Director RCH Dr. Suneet Ranawat and Project Director (Immunization) Dr. Raghuraj Singh. Under the campaign, a target was set to administer polio vaccine to 87.50 lakh children in the state. On the first day of this target, more than 49.84 lakh children were administered the dose at polio booths. Went. Dr. Ranaut said- The department had set up 46,887 polio booths in the entire state to administer medicines to children. From today our teams are going door-to-door to administer medicines to underprivileged children, which will continue tomorrow also.
Most children drank medicine in Bikaner
Project Director (Immunization) Dr. Raghuraj Singh said – Under the campaign, yesterday maximum of more than 3 lakh 8 thousand children were administered medicine in Bikaner district. In this sequence, Udaipur district stood second, where more than 3 lakh 700 children were given medicine.Dr. Singh said- A total of more than 2.89 lakh children drank the medicine in both Jaipur I and Jaipur II districts (1.43 and 1.45 lakh). The least number of children consumed the medicine in Dudu district, where more than 18,400 children reached the booth.
Campaign will run for three days in Jaipur
Door-to-door campaign will run for three days in Jaipur. Mobile teams will go to Jaipur district to administer polio medicines to children till 11th December. Whereas in the remaining districts, teams will be sent door to door till December 10.
