676th foundation day of Karauli city celebrated, worshiped

Karauli : The 676th foundation day of Karauli city was celebrated on Tuesday. After offering prayers as per rituals in the Lord Kalyan Rai temple built at the time of establishment of Karauli, he prayed to God for prosperity and peace in the area.

It is noteworthy that Karauli city was established in Kartik Shukla Dev Uthani Ekadashi 1348. On this day, the temple of Lord Kalyan Rai was built by the then king Arjun Dev. The earlier name of Karauli was Kalyanpuri, after the name of Kalyan Rai Temple, which later changed to Karauli. Madan Mohan Temple Trust Manager Malkhan Pal, Kishan Pal Singh, Rajendra Dewan, Yogendra Singh, Bhupendra Pal and others were present in a simple program organized at Bhagwan Kalyan Rai Temple.

During this, Rajyacharya Prakash Jati performed the puja as per the rituals. Worshiped Lord Kalyan Rai as per the rituals and wished for prosperity in the area. During this period a symposium was also organised. In the symposium, the historical, religious importance and culture and development of the area were discussed. It is noteworthy here that Lord Kalyan Rai Temple has been constructed in the shape of a chariot in South Indian style. The statue of Lord Kalyan Rai made of black stone also depicts all the incarnations of the Lord.
