Sikar : After the education department’s promotion from senior teacher to lecturer post, now it is stuck due to the laxity of RPSC. After a long struggle, the RPSC has not approved the file recommended by the DPC even after a month. In such a situation, the hope of DPC of third grade teachers along with senior teachers is also stuck in the balance. Whereas if the government has the intention, then by doing DPC of senior teachers and third grade teachers, the government will give the gift of promotion to thousands of teachers and 40 thousand third grade teachers. Along with transfers of teachers to their desired places, the way for new recruitment on 72 thousand posts can also be opened.
Recommendation for two sessions was sent, that too got stuck
Four years’ DPC of senior teachers is outstanding in the education department. There are promotions pending in the department from session 2021-22 to 2024-25. Out of which the Education Department had sent the recommendation for outstanding promotion of two sessions of 2021-22 and 2022-23 to RPSC in the first week of last month. But even after almost a month has passed, the file is stuck.
DPC’s demand for all four sessions
The dues of senior teachers for 2023-24 and regular DPC for 2024-25 are entangled in the legal process due to the dispute of more than two children. Teachers organizations demand that apart from the teachers affected in the case, DPC of these sessions should also be conducted.
DPC can open the way for transfers and new recruitment
According to experts, if there is a desire, then by doing DPC of all categories, the government can transfer 40 thousand third grade teachers to the desired place and can also open the way for recruitment to 72 thousand posts for the unemployed. For this, after first resolving the issue of about five thousand lecturers entangled in the court case, 7400 vice principals along with the arrears were made principals. Then if ten thousand posts of Vice Principals are filled by promotion of lecturers, then 15 thousand posts of lecturers will become vacant.
By adding 17,556 thousand already vacant posts and 17 thousand posts stuck in financial approval of newly upgraded schools, the number of vacant posts will be around 49 thousand 500. Out of these, if about 30 thousand promotional posts are filled by promotion of senior teachers, a total of 63 thousand posts of senior teachers including 33 thousand posts which are already vacant, will become vacant. Out of these, about 35 thousand posts of third grade teachers are filled by promotion and by adding about 37 thousand previously vacant posts, a total of 72 thousand posts of third grade teachers will become vacant. Due to which the outstanding third grade teachers can be easily transferred to the desired place, while the unemployed can be given great relief with teacher recruitment.
By filling all the posts through DPC at every level, 72 thousand new posts will be created for the recruitment of third grade teachers. Along with benefits to teachers, the teaching system of government schools will also improve. The benefit of which will also be available in the form of increase in enrollment in government schools. A month ago, proposals for two sessions were sent for lecturer DPC, but the non-approval of the proposals raises many questions, if the entire DPC from Principal to Assistant Teacher If 72 thousand third grade posts are vacant, the way for new recruitment will open and all interested third grade teachers can be transferred.
