New Delhi, November 17 (IANS). The ground has started being prepared for the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi. On Sunday, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) suffered a major blow when senior party minister Kailash Gehlot resigned.
Gehlot submitted his resignation to Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. After his resignation, political activity has intensified. However, AAP leader Sandeep Pathak said it was “not a setback” for the party.
He said, “Aam Aadmi Party is made up of two crore people of Delhi. The work of Arvind Kejriwal is the basis of the party. The party is not made by any one person and the party is not broken by someone’s departure. Individuals are free to take their own decisions.” We congratulate him for the journey ahead.”
After AAP’s meeting regarding Delhi Assembly elections, Sandeep Pathak has said that Arvind Kejriwal is holding a meeting with all the officials in Delhi. Till now a meeting has been held with the officials of Chandni Chowk district, and in future too he will continue to hold meetings with the officials of all the Lok Sabha constituencies. In this way he is taking feedback from everyone. In the coming days, meetings will be held at every booth, where Arvind Kejriwal will inform the public about his past works.
He has said that BJP has also harmed the interests of the public for political gains. The people of Delhi understand that BJP is not fighting to win the elections here. BJP is entering the elections with a negative mentality. Our elections will be positive and for further development work. We will tell the public about the work we have done.
Aam Aadmi Party is also holding a district conference in Delhi. On this, the AAP leader said that till now a district conference has been held at one place, conferences will be held at other places soon. Party workers and officials are fully prepared for the Delhi Assembly elections. I believe that Arvind Kejriwal will win the upcoming assembly elections by a larger number of votes as compared to the previous years’ assembly elections.
