Jaipur : ACB Jaipur Rural Unit took action on Monday and arrested a Patwari and Gram Pratihari of Bassi Tehsil red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. 45,000. The bribe amount was demanded in lieu of demarcation of agricultural land. ACB took action on the complaint and made this arrest.
Anti-Corruption Bureau Director General of Police Dr. Ravi Prakash Mehrada said that ACB Jaipur Rural Unit received a complaint that in lieu of demarcation work of agricultural land, accused Patwari Reena Soyal, Patwar Halka Barala Additional Charge Khajurian Brahmamanan, Tehsil Bassi and Rodumal Gram Pratihari, Patwar Halka Barala, Tehsil Bassi are harassing the complainant by demanding a bribe of Rs 45,000. Acting on the complaint under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Sunil Sihag of ACB Jaipur Rural Unit, accused Patwari Reena Soyal and Gram Pratihari Rodumal have been arrested red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 45,000 from the complainant. Interrogation of the accused is going on under the supervision of Additional Director General of Police Smita Shrivastava of ACB. Both the employees have been trapped while taking bribe. A report will be prepared and presented as challan and if anything happens, it will come out in the investigation.
