Udaipur : After getting bail from the division bench of Rajasthan High Court, Javed, the accused arrested in the Kanhaiyalal murder case, was released from Ajmer’s high security jail on Saturday morning. Wearing a black kurta-pyjama and white slippers, Javed came out of the jail hiding his face and carrying a big bag and immediately left in the car.
Accused of conspiring with doing Reiki
Javed is accused of doing a recce of the crime scene and plotting the murder. Last year too, he had applied for bail in the NIA special court. But, at that time the court had refused to grant bail. But 2 years after the murder, Rajasthan High Court granted bail to Javed on certain conditions. The High Court has ordered that Javed cannot leave the country. He will have to continuously cooperate in the NIA investigation.
Before Javed, 2 other accused got bail
Before Javed, accused Farhad Mohammad Sheikh alias Babla was also granted bail on 1 September 2023 in the Kanhaiyalal murder case that took place in Udaipur, Rajasthan, about two years ago. Whereas Farhad is on bail from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) court. Jail Superintendent Paras Jangid of the High Security Jail in Ghughra, Ajmer, said that while staying in the high security jail, Mohammad Javed lived in a very calm manner and also obeyed the jail guards. Javed never had any dispute with anyone during his stay in the jail.
Purchased biscuits, snacks and garments worth Rs 3500 deposited
The jail administration received the court order after 9:00 pm on 6 September. Before that the high security jail had been closed. That is why Mohammad Javed was provided tea and breakfast by the jail administration this morning. Javed’s family had deposited ₹3500 for food items while he was inside the jail, the full account of which was given to Javed today. Javed bought salty biscuits and undergarments worth Rs 3500. As per the jail administration rules, the amount deposited by any prisoner is not given in cash upon release. The prisoner has to buy some items from the jail canteen with that money.
