Udaipur : A division bench of the Rajasthan High Court has granted bail to Javed, accused in the famous Kanhaiyalal murder case of Udaipur. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had accused Javed of conspiring to kill Kanhaiyalal. The High Court has granted bail to Javed on a bail bond of Rs 2 lakh and a surety amount of Rs 1 lakh. The NIA arrested Javed 20 days after Kanhaiyalal’s murder. The allegation against him was that he had met the main accused Riyaz Attari a day before the incident. A blunt sword was also found during a search of his house, due to which a case was also registered against him under the Arms Act.
Let us tell you that on 28 June 2022, accused Riyaz Attari and Mohammad Gaus murdered tailor Kanhaiyalal Sahu by slitting his throat. The accused carried out this incident as they were angry at him for supporting the then BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma who made objectionable remarks against the Prophet. The accused also threatened PM Modi by making a video after the murder.
