Jalore : Bishangarh Police, while taking action against illegal gravel miners, on Friday seized a tractor-trolley and arrested the driver on the spot.
Under the direction of SP Gyanchandra Yadav, a team of Head Constable Vishan Singh was formed under the direction of Bishangarh Police Station Officer as part of the campaign being run in compliance with the orders of the Honorable Court against those involved in illegal gravel mining and transportation. The tractor trolley was seized after it was found that gravel was being illegally stolen and transported in a tractor trolley in the Jawai river located in Keshavna.
Also arrested was Prahlad Kumar (35), son of Ambaram Meghwal, resident of tractor driver Keshavna. A case was registered against the accused under Section 303 (2) BNS and 4/21 MMDR Act. Police team constables Veeram Singh, Hanuman Ram and Suresh were responsible for the proceedings.
