AHMEDABAD: Bomb threats were sent to several Ahmedabad schools on Monday, triggering panic and fear among students, staff and parents.
State police and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDDS) teams have visited the spot and are continuing the investigation, the television said. The letters were allegedly sent by a Russian sender.
The Ahmedabad incident follows a similar series of incidents in the Delhi-NCR region a few days ago when several schools received bomb threats.
