Congratulating the people of the state, Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote on X Post, “Heartiest greetings to our Naga sisters and brothers on Nagaland Day. Rich in glorious culture and heritage, Nagaland is a unique example of our diversity on the rich cultural image of India. I pray to God that the state moves forward on the path of prosperity under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.”

Nagaland Governor La Ganesan extended his warm greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of its 62nd Statehood Day and highlighted its historic journey, achievements and future aspirations.
In a video message on the eve of Statehood Day, Governor Ganesan said, “The unwavering spirit and strong resolve of the people of the state is a testament to the strength of our people, who have worked tirelessly to create a unique identity for Nagaland in the vast region of India Our vibrant festivals and rich cultural expressions are a precious gift that must be preserved with utmost care and responsibility.”
Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri wrote on Twitter, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the people of the state on the foundation day of Nagaland state. It is our wish that this state continues to move forward on the path of progress while preserving its rich cultural heritage.”
