Alwar : Alwar Sariska is buzzing with the arrival of tourists. Due to the continuous sighting of tigers, the footfall of domestic and foreign tourists has increased here. Every day 300 to 400 tourists are reaching the sanctuary to see the tigers. This number is touching the figure of 500 on weekends. The sanctuary is likely to be full in December, the last month of the year. People will reach here in large numbers in January also. Due to this, Sariska administration is busy in preparations. As the number of tourists increases, additional vehicles can also be sent to visit the forest.
Sariska opened on October 1. This season is considered peak. It started well. Most of the tickets are being booked online. Currently, 30 vehicles are being sent to the forest from Sariska, in which 17 are gypsies. Senior guide Vivek Kumar says that the number of tourists starts increasing in the second week of December, which continues till January. When school holidays come, people come to visit with their families. Besides, tourists also come in large numbers to celebrate the New Year. In such a situation, this time also it is expected that the months of December and January will be completely full.
