Alwar : Youth Festival will start from 30th November in all the blocks of Alwar Pradesh. Many competitions will be held at the block, district and division levels to preserve and promote Rajasthan’s disappearing traditional folk culture and art forms, science, technology and innovation. Nodal officers have been appointed by the Education Department. Registration of youth in the festival remains low. In such a situation, the department has made changes in the program and now it will be from 30 November to 10 December at the block level, from 11 December to 17 December at the district level and from 18 December to 25 December at the division level. The state government has included this in the budget 2024-25. The program was announced. Chief District Education Officer Mahesh Chand Gupta said that participation of all people is necessary in this.
These will be the competitions: There will be a science or digital fair in the festival. Cultural competitions include group folk singing, folk dance, solo folk singing, solo folk dance, poetry recitation in life skills, story writing, painting, Langa, speech competition, handicraft in youth work, textile art, agricultural products, lost art of Rajasthan. Video, reel graphic will be organized in Phad, Bhapang Algoja, Mandana, Manganiyar, Puppet, Khadtal, Morchang and digital skills.
