An amount of Rs 45 lakh was transferred to the bank accounts of 93 promising girl students of Rajasthan

Jaipur : State Education Minister Madan Dilawar transferred the amount to the accounts of eligible girl students under ‘Mukhyamantri Hamari Beti Yojana’ and ‘Indira Priyadarshini Puraskar Yojana’. Under the scheme, in the second phase, a total of Rs 45 lakh 1585 was transferred to the bank accounts of 93 girl students through DBT.

Education Minister said- Government is committed to the education of girls

From his official residence in Jaipur, the Education Minister sent an amount of Rs 7 lakh 91 thousand 585 to 22 girls under the ‘Mukhyamantri Hamari Beti Yojana’ and Rs 37 lakh 10000 to the bank accounts of 71 girls under the second phase of the ‘Indira Priyadarshini Puraskar Yojana’. On this occasion, Education Minister Madan Dilawar congratulated the beneficiary students of the scheme and wishing everyone a bright future, he said that the government is committed to the education of girls. We would always want girls to touch the heights of success.

What is the ‘Chief Minister Our Daughters Scheme’

Rajasthan Government has launched ‘Mukhyamantri Hamari Betiyan Yojana’ to promote girl education and motivate girls for higher education. The objective of starting this scheme is that talented girl students do not leave their studies midway due to financial reasons. Under this scheme, four meritorious girl students are selected from each district. Under this scheme, a lump sum amount of Rs 15,000 is given for stationery and school uniform in class 11 and 12 as an incentive. And there is a provision to spend up to Rs 1 lakh on their hostel, coaching, tuition fees, training, sports etc. And the government bears financial expenditure of up to Rs 2 lakh under the scheme for studies up to graduation and post graduation.
