Jaipur : After CP Joshi offered his resignation from the post of Rajasthan BJP President, the name of the new president has been announced. BJP National President JP Nadda has given the responsibility of the state president post to Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore, who comes from OBC category. He will replace CP Joshi. Apart from this, BJP in-charge and co-in-charge have also been appointed in Rajasthan.

Late on Thursday night, BJP National President JP Nadda announced the name of the new BJP President of Rajasthan. Madan Rathod has been appointed as Rajasthan BJP President. The new name has been announced after CP Joshi offered his resignation from the post of President. Along with the name of the new President in Rajasthan, BJP in-charge and co-in-charge have also been appointed. Dr. Radha Mohan Das Agrawal has been appointed as the in-charge of Rajasthan and Vijaya Rahatkar as co-in-charge.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma congratulated Madan Rathore on being made the Rajasthan BJP President. On the social media platform, CM Bhajanlal wrote, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to Rajya Sabha MP respected Madan Rathore ji on being appointed as the state president of BJP Rajasthan by the top leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Madan Rathore, originally from Pali, was born on 2 July 1954 in Raipur, Pali. Madan Rathore, who has been a two-time MLA from Pali district, was also made the Deputy Chief Whip in the previous BJP government.
Madan Rathod, who has been the BJP’s district president for Pali four times, lost his ticket in the Rajasthan assembly elections this time. After this, the party made him a Rajya Sabha MP, and now has given him dual responsibility by making him the state president. Madan Rathod has been associated with RSS since the beginning. Madan Rathod has been arrested in Mathura’s Narhauli police station during the Ram Janmabhoomi movement and has also hoisted the tricolor at Lal Chowk along with Murli Manohar Joshi and Modi.
