Banswara Encourage children to come to the library

The four-day Functional Librarian and Digital Library training camp organized by the Work Experience Division of Banswara : Garhi DIET concluded on Thursday. Vice Principal J.P. Nagar said that the people associated with it, the place, the collection of books and the various activities and dialogues taking place in the library play an important role in making the library vibrant and active. He said that it is very important for children to have access to books in a fear-free environment.

Children should be encouraged to come to the library. In this training organized for the first time for school librarians in the meeting hall of Azim Premji Foundation, Divisional Coordinator of Center for Micro Finance Tata Trust, Utkarsh Suthar said that children want to come to the library, sit with their favorite books, read the main points of the book. Want to interact with the page and the images within it and move forward in forming their own independent opinions about them.

This applies equally to children from first-second to upper primary level. State reference persons Deveng Patidar, Yogesh Gehlot and Utkarsh Suthar gave training related to library activities. Kalpesh Joshi and Kamlesh Patidar explained the usefulness of the camp. Jalaj Jani and Kunal Gandhi recited poetry. During the training, the participants visited the model library of Nutan School.
