Banswara : under the banner of Adivasi Aarakshan Manch, on Sunday under the banner of Adivasi Aarakshan Manch demanding the implementation of reservation in reservation (quota in quota) and separate reservation in proportion to the population on behalf of the Supreme Court to bring the Scheduled Castes and Tribes into the mainstream. A huge rally was taken out in Banswara. Apart from Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, representatives of tribal society also participated from Sawai Madhopur and Jhalawar. A large number of youth along with public representatives started arriving from the afternoon itself to participate in the rally organized in the grounds of Shri Govind Guru Government College. They went.
The entire pandal was packed with the presence of thousands of people. The youth involved in this had placards with slogans written on their three-point demands: implement reservation in quota, give reservation in proportion to population and give complete relaxation in minimum eligibility. After this, the speakers addressed the three demands in the meeting. After the meeting, a rally was taken out from the college grounds, which reached the Collectorate via Ambamata, Custom Square, Old Bus Stand, Information Centre, Kushalbagh, Jawaharpul, where a memorandum was given to the Governor and the Chief Minister mentioning the three demands.
Before the decision should be implemented in Southern Rajasthan, former Water Resources Minister Mahendrajit Singh Malviya said in the meeting that Southern Rajasthan has been demanding separate reservation in administrative services for many years. The Supreme Court has decided to give reservation in quota. This decision has created a feeling among the youth and public representatives that someone has heard the voice of our hearts. He said that Haryana has implemented this decision. Through the rally, they want that the administration, Governor and Chief Minister should implement the quota reservation in the Supreme Court quota in this area. There is no objection if it is implemented for Scheduled Tribes as well as Scheduled Castes. If OBC also gets benefits then it is welcome. Tribal people have 12 percent reservation. Out of that, Southern Rajasthan should get separate reservation in proportion to 6.5 percent of its population.
