Barmer absconding accused arrested in illegal gravel transportation case

Barmer : Kalyanpur Police of Balotra district has arrested a wanted accused who was absconding in the illegal gravel mining case. The accused was absconding for about one and a half months. Police have arrested 5 accused so far. At present the police is interrogating the accused.

According to the police, on October 25, the police team of Sindhari police station set up a blockade in Samuja village to take action against illegal gravel mining. During the blockade, a total of four dumpers filled with illegal gravel arrived. After chasing them, the driver parked the dumpers near Samuja School and fled from the spot.

The police team seized all four dumpers filled with illegal gravel. A case was registered under BNS and MMDR Act at Samdari police station. Its investigation was given to Kalyanpur Police Station Officer.

Kalyanpur police station officer Vishal Kumar said – A team was formed at the police station level and the search for the absconding accused was started. Raids were conducted at possible targets. During this time, accused Sunil, Thakraram, Laxmanram, Virendra Patel were first arrested, produced in the court and sent to jail.

Vikram, son of Malaram, resident of Janaki Nagar Pal Road, Jodhpur, who was absconding in the case for the last one and a half month, was detained by technical and traditional policing and arrested after interrogation. Constable Abhishek Kumar, Rajkumar are involved in the action.
