Block Secretary of Congress Barmer Mandal Nimb Singh was seriously injured in a road accident on Saturday. He lay in pain on the road for 15 minutes. During this time, people passing by took him to the district hospital in a private vehicle.
The incident took place near Kurja Phante in Sadar police station area of Barmer district. On receiving the information, Shiv MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati and former MLA Mewaram Jain reached the hospital. When the condition became serious, he was referred to Jodhpur after primary treatment. At present, the police is investigating the cause of the accident.
According to the information received, Nimb Singh (50) son of Dhan Singh, a resident of Undkha village, left the village on his bike at around 11 am on Friday. During this, the bike went out of control near Kurja Phatak. He suffered serious head injuries after falling down. He kept writhing in pain on the road for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, passersby took care of him and took him to the hospital in a private vehicle. On receiving the information, Shiv MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati and former MLA Mewaram Jain reached the hospital. A large crowd of people gathered at the hospital. Due to the serious head injury of the Congress leader, he was referred to Jodhpur after first aid. The condition of injured Nimb Singh is said to be critical.

Shiv MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati had reached Mahavir Town Hall to participate in the Rozgar Utsav program of Rajasthan Government. On getting the news of the accident, he left the program and went straight to the hospital.

Congress leader Nimb Singh’s daughter-in-law is currently the Sarpanch of Undkha Gram Panchayat. He himself is the Block Secretary of Congress Barmer Division. He has been associated with Congress for a long time.
