Jaipur : SOG investigating the irregularities in Sub Inspector Recruitment Examination (2021) is kind to the accused. This can be gauged from the fact that even after six months, SOG has not even interrogated many of the named accused. Only after confirmation in the preliminary investigation, SOG named 40 accused on March 3, 2024. The candidates who became SI by sitting on dummies in the examination are currently taking training. SOG has also not been able to catch all the dummy candidates.
After the FIR, investigation revealed 69 names who were involved in the irregularities. SOG removed his name from the challan and gave him a clean chit. The list of these 69 people is close. SOG has not been able to make any recovery till now in SI recruitment exam case. In the investigation of irregularities in REET recruitment exam, SOG had arrested the accused and recovered Rs 1.22 crore. 95 lakhs were recovered in the teacher recruitment examination grade second.
Caught the exam in-charge, but gave clean chit to the principal.
Sunil Bhadu of Hemaguda-Sanchor was named at number 31 in the FIR, Ganpatlal Vishnoi of Karawali was named at number 40. Investigation revealed that both work for Jagdish Vishnoi. Involved in paper leak. Still, SOG did not interrogate both of them.
SOG arrested Rajendra Yadav, the examination in-charge of the Khatipura school from where the SI paper was leaked, but gave a clean chit to Principal Jaiprakash Raghav. There is also mention of the principal’s collusion in the interrogation note of Rajendra Yadav.
Selected SI (No. 301) Jitendra Tanwar was given a clean chit after interrogation, while arrested Manoj Chaudhary had confessed to giving him the paper. That is why SOG had arrested Jitendra from Rajasthan Police Academy (RPA).
After being interrogated, he left the training and ran away from RPA.
Selected SIs (34) Monica and (102) Priyanka Goswami are the named accused. SOG called both of them from RPA for questioning, then gave them a clean chit. In such a situation, both of them left the training and ran away. Praveen Vishnoi, selected at 39th rank, is named at number 39, but SOG has not even interrogated him. Abhay Singh, selected at number 7, is named at number 35. SOG called him from RPA for questioning, later he went missing from training. Similarly, Bhagirath Vishnoi (87), Govind Kumar (39), resident of Jhab, Sanchore and Shankarlal (144), resident of Dhorimanna, Barmer, were made accused by SOG during training. Interrogated him once, after that. SOG has not been able to touch both of them till date.
56 SIs who passed by sitting on dummies are currently undergoing training in RPA.
The investigation revealed that dummies were sitting in place of the 61 selected candidates. Of these, 56 are still on training, whom SOG has not been able to arrest. Their signatures, thumb impressions and photographs did not match.
