Sikar : The doors of the world famous Khatu Shyam temple of Khatushyamji in Sikar district will remain closed from 9:30 pm today (5 December) to 5 pm tomorrow. Due to special service worship and tilak adornment of Baba Shyam, it will be closed for general devotees to visit. After Baba Shyam’s Tilak and special service puja, the doors of the temple will open for devotees to have darshan on 6th December at 5 pm. Only after this the devotees will be able to have darshan of Baba Shyam. Due to the doors of Baba Shyam’s temple remaining closed, devotees will have to wait for about 19 hours to see Baba.
Baba Shyam’s special service-puja will be decorated
Shri Shyam Temple Committee Minister Manvendra Singh Chauhan said that on December 6, special service of Baba Shyam – puja, tilak adornment and Maha Aarti will be performed. The doors of Baba’s court will be closed at 9:30 pm on 5th December. After the doors of Shrishyam temple are closed for the whole day on 6th December, the doors of the temple will open for the devotees to have darshan after Maha Aarti at 5 pm.
Darshan will take place after the doors of the temple open.
Minister Manvendra Singh Chauhan has appealed to the Sardar people to come to Baba’s court for darshan after the doors of the temple are opened. It is noteworthy that after every Amavasya, Baba Shyam’s Tilak Seva-Pooja is performed on special festivals. During this period, the doors of Baba Shyam’s temple remain closed for several hours.
