Bihar BJP Candidate Sheela Pandit Promises to Reach Last Person with Government Benefits

Patna, June 6: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its candidates for the Bihar Legislative Council biennial elections 2026. The party’s central election committee has approved four names, including Pawan Singh, Dr. Sanjay Mayukh, Anil Kumar Thakur, and Sheela Pandit. Expressing gratitude for the trust placed in her by the party leadership, Sheela Pandit stated that she will strive to meet the party’s expectations and prioritize public service.

Sheela Pandit thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the national leadership of the BJP, Bihar BJP President, former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and all senior party leaders for their support. She expressed heartfelt thanks for the significant responsibility entrusted to her by the party.

Discussing her priorities after joining the Legislative Council, she emphasized that her main goal will be to ensure that the welfare schemes initiated by the central government under Prime Minister Modi reach the last person in society. She mentioned that she will work tirelessly to bring the benefits of development and welfare schemes to those at the grassroots level, in line with the BJP’s principle of Antyodaya.

Sheela Pandit also highlighted her commitment to effectively disseminating ongoing schemes aimed at uplifting women, youth, farmers, and the underprivileged. She asserted that Bihar is progressing rapidly in terms of development and that there is a need to strengthen this momentum in the future. She expressed confidence that Bihar will play a crucial role in realizing Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047.
