Bikaner: Now women will get all the facilities in this bus in the markets of the city.

Bikaner : Women in Bikaner no longer need to roam around in the market in search of toilet as these facilities will be available in two pink buses. On Tuesday, two pink buses were dedicated by National Commission for Women Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar on behalf of Bikaner Municipal Corporation. Rahatkar is in Bikaner for the function organized on the occasion of Constitution Day. Rahatkar dedicated two ‘Sakhi Mahila Swachhata Grih’ (Pink Bus) to women during the function organized in the Municipal Corporation premises on the occasion of Constitution Day on Tuesday. This bus will be parked in various crowded areas of the city. Special care will be taken of cleanliness in this pink bus which will be parked from morning to evening. This bus will also be seen in big events to be held in Bikaner, so that no woman gets troubled.

Former Mayor of Bikaner Municipal Corporation Sushila Kanwar Rajpurohit had got the budget approved for pink buses during her tenure. The mayor’s tenure ended on Monday, after which these buses were dedicated on Tuesday. In such a situation, after the completion of the mayor’s tenure, buses are seen in the main market. On this occasion, Rahatkar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the cleanliness campaign to every person. Such innovations are needed for working women in urban areas. Women will get the facility to breastfeed through pink buses. Sanitary napkins will also be available through this. He told about the works of the Women’s Commission. Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Sumit Godara said that many works have been done in the district during the one year tenure of the state government. It will be given more momentum in the coming two-three years. National Commission for Women member Archana Majumdar, Bikaner East Assembly constituency MLA Ms. Siddhi Kumari, Bikaner West MLA Jethanand Vyas and former Mayor Sushila Kanwar Rajpurohit also spoke on the occasion.
