Jaipur : Bisalpur Dam, which quenches the thirst of the capital Jaipur as well as Ajmer and Tonk districts, is now moving towards overflowing. However, after the monsoon activities decreased in Bhilwara, Chittorgarh and Rajsamand districts falling in the catchment area, the speed of water inflow in the dam has started slowing down from Wednesday.
Water inflow continues in tributary rivers
With the weather department announcing the monsoon to be active again in Rajasthan from August 31, people are now looking forward to September for the dam to overflow. Manish Bansal, the executive engineer of the dam project, said that the inflow of water in the Banas, Khari and Dai rivers, which help fill the dam, is continuing.
314.35 RL meter reached gauge
By 8 pm on Wednesday, the gauge has increased to 314.35 RL meter. In which there is water filling of 30.704 TMC. Which is 79.33 percent of the total water filling.
