Indore 23 November (IANS). Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Madhya Pradesh government minister Kailash Vijayvargiya has said that amid the huge success of Mahayuti in the assembly elections in Maharashtra, the workers there wish that Devendra Fadnavis should become the Chief Minister.
In Indore, Kailash Vijayvargiya attributed the success of BJP and Mahayuti in Maharashtra to the hard work of the workers. It has also been said that the Chief Minister will be selected by the party leadership and the leaders of the three alliance parties, but the party workers of Maharashtra wish that Devendra Fadnavis should be made the Chief Minister.
Referring to the success of the BJP-led alliance in Maharashtra and the allegations being made by the Congress, Vijayvargiya said that when the Congress wins, everything is fine and when it loses, EVMs are blamed. Former Chief Minister of the state Digvijay Singh had already taken EVM and said that some EVM person had told him that BJP is winning. Vijayvargiya said that Maharashtra BJP is winning because of EVMs, but why did it not win in Jharkhand. When we lose we tear our clothes, in a democracy we must have the courage to accept defeat and victory. There should be a big heart, but these leaders do not have this big heart.
On the question of the reason for BJP’s big victory, Vijayvargiya said that he has faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the ideology of BJP and what we said, we did it. The Mahayuti alliance worked very hard and the partners supported each other. A lot of work was done under the leadership of Nitin Gadkari and Devendra Fadnavis. Party workers took our ideology to the masses.
In response to the question of who should be the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Vijayvargiya said that this decision will be taken by our high command and the leaders of the three parties, but the workers want Devendra Fadnavis to become the Chief Minister. In the talks held with the workers of Maharashtra, he has expressed his intentions. Everyone is unanimous that Devendra Fadnavis should become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
State minister Kailash Vijayvargi had also gone to Maharashtra to campaign for the assembly elections and he also had a big responsibility. The party has achieved great success in the places where he took charge of the campaign.
