A mobile was found during checking in the barrack of Ajmer’s high security jail. The mobile had a SIM card and a charger was also recovered. It was hidden under a book on the window. A case has been registered against two prisoners locked in the barrack. Civil Lines police station has registered the case and started investigation.
On behalf of the Deputy Superintendent of the High Security Jail, Jail Guard Khetpal Singh, resident of Mulia-Fatehgarh (Jaisalmer), has given a report to the Civil Lines Police Station. It said that the jail was searched by the jail staff on June 27 from 3:30 pm to 4 pm. During this, a silver grey colour keypad mobile phone was found under a book kept in the window in Block number four of Ward number four. It had a SIM and battery.
Here the charger and black colour data cable were found wrapped in white polythene. Duty guard Ram Singh Yadav recovered it. In the ward, undertrial prisoners Vikram Gurjar son of Kaluram Gurjar and Roshan son of Gopal Jat were there. Informing the higher authorities about the matter, a complaint has been lodged against both the prisoners under the Prison Act 2015. Civil Line police station has registered the case and handed over the investigation to ASI Hariram.
