Old telephone poles have melted and been damaged at many places in the main market and other places of the town. On the one hand, the traffic system is being affected due to this. At many places, people are facing problems in transportation due to fallen poles. The corporation office here is locked. In such a situation, people are worried about where to go if they go.
Telephone poles have been installed in the main market and other places of Chauth Ka Barwada for many years. Earlier, telephone lines used to go here like electric wires. After this, some lines went underground and some lines were removed due to landline phones being switched off, but the poles have not been removed. Along with this, three days ago a pole fell on the shutter of a shop at the railway station intersection. To remove it, several visits have been made to the BSNL office of the town, but it is always locked. In such a situation, people are facing problems. Shopkeeper here Lalchand Gupta told that this pole can fall on any child or passenger going to the railway station at any time.
