Also, the number of patients suffering from this disease has increased more than three times since Diwali. Patients are using inhalers to get relief. According to the information, according to AQI, 0 to 50 is considered good, 51 to 100 fair, 101 to 200 moderate, 200 to 300 bad, 300 to 400 severe and 400 to 500 dangerous. In such a situation, the EXI of the district headquarters has reached a level harmful for health. According to the District Pollution Control Board office, the AQI of the city has reached 203 on November 15, 156 on 16, 126 on 17, 147 on 18, 221 on 19 and 194 on 20. Whereas after Diwali, it was only 142 on November 1 and 127 on November 2. In such a situation, the climate of the city can prove to be a threat to a healthy body. This is the condition even though there is a lot of forest in the district.

Garbage is not collected regularly in the city. In such a situation, the sanitation workers set these garbage heaps on fire, due to which smoke keeps coming out for several hours. Every morning, about two to three dozen garbage heaps are set on fire in the city. At the same time, there is a fire burning in the dumping yard located on Astoli Road for many months, due to which a large amount of smoke comes out, the wind of which also affects the forest area and Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve area. Sometimes the AQI suddenly increases due to the direction of the wind. . To keep the air free from pollution, it is necessary to have awareness among the people. The burning of garbage heaps in the city and dumping yards is affecting the air quality, about which a letter will be written to the District Collector and Municipal Council Commissioner.
