Bikaner : A fraud report was lodged against Bikaner East region MLA Siddhi Kumari and her sister Rajsamand MP Mahima Kumari at Beechwal police station on Tuesday through Istgasa. This report has been filed by Rajeev Mishra on behalf of M/s Golden Tri Angle Forts and Palace Private Limited, which operates Hotel Lakshmi Niwas Palace on lease.
The report said that Lakshmi Niwas Palace was given to the company to operate the hotel for 19 years through a lease deed registered on May 24, 1999. Before his demise, Narendra Singh signed a lease agreement for 19 years with the company on June 15, 1999, for three renewals of 19-19 years each.
It is alleged that later, Siddhi Kumari and Mahima Kumari collected a total of Rs 4 crore from the check till February 2, 2011 by applying pressure and showing fear of eviction from the Palace. Of these, one crore rupees were given to Maharaja Ganga Singh Trust. Later, when the lease was not extended, the amount was refused to be returned.
