Jhalawar : The strings of NEET exam paper leak are now also linked to Jhalawar Medical College. The CBI team has arrested 10 students of this college, out of which 8 have got bail, while 2 students are still in police custody. These students are accused of taking 15 lakh rupees each and appearing in the exam as dummy candidates. Some girl students are also involved in this along with the boys.
The college administration hid the matter
Jhalawar Medical College administration did not share any information about this matter for a long time. When the Dean of the Medical College, Dr. Subhash Chandra Jain was asked about this matter, he kept on avoiding the matter. The concealment of the matter by the officials of the Medical College is also raising many questions in itself.
When the local police was asked for information about this, they denied having any knowledge of any action taken by the CBI. However, the dean of the college has confirmed this action and said that teams from Delhi and Mumbai had come recently and arrested 10 students studying in the college.
Several arrests made in NEET case
Let us tell you that cases have been registered at many places across the country in the case of fraud in NEET UG exam. Police of different states are taking action on them. Apart from this, on the instructions of the Supreme Court, the investigation of this entire matter has been handed over to the CBI. After this, action is being taken continuously at different places across the country. Dozens of arrests have been made so far in the NEET exam scam. Now its strings have also been linked to Jhalawar Medical College. Let us tell you that even before this, cases of medicos studying in other medical colleges of Rajasthan giving NEET exam as dummy candidates have been coming to the fore.
