Alwar : 13 CCTV cameras removed from officers’ rooms in Alwar UIT have been reinstalled. With this, the entire campus of UIT has once again come under the surveillance of CCTV cameras after almost two years. In the year 2022, the then Secretary Dr. Manju had installed CCTV cameras, taking the entire campus of UIT under surveillance. CCTV cameras were also installed in the officers’ rooms to eliminate the nexus of brokers and contractors and monitoring of these cameras was kept in the office of the UIT Secretary. So that the security of the UIT premises, maintenance of files, nexus of officers, brokers and contractors etc. can be monitored through CCTV cameras.
When the officers started getting disturbed in their work due to the installation of cameras, they took advantage of the opportunity and removed the CCTV cameras from their rooms. In the October 8 issue, “51 CCTV cameras were installed in UIT to break the nexus with the brokers, the officers removed them, some took them home.
