Bemetara (Raipur), 22 November (IANS). A major accident took place on Friday night on Raipur Kawardha National Highway, the capital of Chhattisgarh. In this incident, the car of State Government Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam met with an accident on the highway.
The Agriculture Minister has been seriously injured in this accident. Besides, their PSO is also injured and has been referred to Raipur. The accident occurred when the convoy of the Agriculture Minister was returning from Bemetara to Raipur. At the same time, his car collided with a pickup vehicle near Jewra. Other people present with him were also injured in the accident, who have been admitted to Ramakrishna Hospital in Raipur.
It is being told that Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam’s car was destroyed after the pickup collided with his car. After the accident he was immediately given first aid at the hospital in Simga. Soon after, he was referred to Ramakrishna Hospital in Raipur.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police and all the administrative officials hurriedly reached the spot. Meanwhile, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. The police took the injured out of the vehicles without any delay. After this the injured were admitted to the hospital.
The police have registered a case and started investigation. Initially the police is searching for the driver of the pickup vehicle. The minister’s condition is said to be stable. He is being given complete medical care. This incident has created a sensation in the area and people are wishing for the speedy recovery of the minister.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai posted on social media platform X and wished the agriculture minister a speedy recovery. He wrote in the post, “Information has been received that our senior cabinet colleague Ramvichar Netam ji has been injured in a car accident. I pray to Lord Shri Ram for his speedy recovery.”
