Beijing, November 20 (IANS). Recently, the G20 Rio summit focused global attention. Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered an important speech presenting a blueprint for equitable development of the world. President Xi proposed “building a just world of shared development” and announced eight steps to support global development, showcasing China’s responsibility and achievements as a major country.
Facing issues such as global poverty and the North-South gap, China has not only lifted 800 million people out of poverty, but also taken concrete and practical steps such as the high-quality joint construction of the “Belt and Road” to help countries in the Global South. India has been supporting the development of China and deepening cooperation in various fields to build a better world.
These measures fully prove that China is an activist in supporting global development. At the same time, China emphasizes the importance of reforming the global governance system and proposes to build a cooperative, stable, open, innovative and environmentally-friendly world economy.
In particular, China advocates strengthening global economic partnership and also offers Chinese solutions to strengthen macro policy coordination and open up broader space for development. In addition, China is also committed to enhancing the voice of the Global South countries in global governance and promoting the development of the governance system in a more fair and reasonable direction.
China’s determination and actions to promote equitable development of the world at the G20 Summit not only infused Chinese wisdom and driving force into global development, but also contributed “Chinese power” to the reform of global governance . In the future, China will continue to play an important role in promoting world multipolarity and economic globalization, and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
