Churu teachers protested against the posting of surplus teachers

Churu : Churu On behalf of Rajasthan Teachers Association Shekhawat branch, Churu, teachers protested on Monday, expressing their displeasure over the posting of surplus and adjusted teachers. While protesting in front of the Education Department office, the teachers expressed their anger and alleged rigging in the posting of adjusted teachers. The teachers surrounded the Education Department office and under the leadership of District President Vijay Potalia gave a memorandum to the Chief District Education Officer Hon. On the call of Teachers Union Shekhawat, the teachers expressed their protest by gheraoing the Education Office for about 2 hours. While the teachers alleged rigging in the adjustment of surplus teachers, Provincial Vice President Bhanwarlal Kaswan said that due to political interference, their favorites have been given posting at the places of their choice.

He said that if justice is not given to those teachers, then an indefinite strike will be started in front of the education office on behalf of the teachers union Shekhawat. District Minister Vedpal Malik said that the posting work done by the education officers was against the rules. In which even though the posts of teachers were vacant in the Panchayat and then in the nearby Panchayat, they were brought from elsewhere and posted in their place. Those teachers have been posted about 50 and 100 kilometers away. On this occasion, a large number of teachers from all sub-branches including Parratan Singh Poonia, Kishanlal Sohu, Omprakash Poonia, Srinath Barod, Ranveer Saharan and Khadim Ali were present.
