CM Atishi inaugurates world class school for 7,000 children on Children’s Day

New Delhi, November 14 (IANS). Delhi Government has prepared a new world class school in the beautiful city of North-East Delhi. On the occasion of Children’s Day on Thursday, CM Atishi inaugurated and dedicated this school to the children.

CM Atishi said that Sunder Nagari and Nand Nagari are the most densely populated areas of Delhi. There is no space to even set foot in this densely populated area, but seeing such a wonderful world class school at such a place, it is hard to believe that it is in the middle of the beautiful Nagari-Nand Nagari area.”

He said, “I am very happy to inaugurate this school because when our government was formed in 2015 and we used to go to schools in this area for inspection, there used to be 100-150 children sitting in every classroom. On the floor, on sackcloth. – Used to sit on the bench. When there are 150 children in a class, even if God comes, the children cannot get good education.

He said that this school will become a hub of world class education for 7,000 children. All three streams of Science, Commerce and Arts will be available for the students. Today, thanks to the Delhi government, such a wonderful school is being inaugurated in the beautiful city of F-1, F-2 block and I can say with certainty that even the biggest private schools of this area do not have such a wonderful building and so many facilities. Will happen.”

He shared that this Sarvodaya School will run in 2 shifts. This school building has 131 rooms, 7 labs, library, 2 big MP halls and conference room. Due to all these facilities, all three streams of Arts, Commerce and Science will be taught in this school. Children living in Sundar Nagri and Nand Nagri will benefit the most from this grand school. Here parents will not have to send their children far for education. In a few weeks, children from nearby schools where there are more children will be shifted here.

He further said that the school land was freed from the clutches of land mafia due to the efforts of the Delhi Government. In January 2023, the then Education Minister Manish Sisodia had laid its foundation and now a magnificent 4-storey school is ready here. This new school will reduce the pressure of students on the schools of Mandoli, Saboli, Sunder Nagari, Bank Colony, Harsh Vihar, Nand Nagari areas.
