CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s big gift to Bhilwara city, now the city will develop rapidly

Bhilwara : After the announcement in the Rajasthan budget, Bhilwara Municipal Council has now been converted into a Municipal Corporation. On Monday (September 2), the Department of Autonomous Governance has issued an order to form a Municipal Corporation. With this, Bhilwara Municipal Council Chairman Rakesh Pathak became the first mayor of the city. There is an atmosphere of joy among political parties on the conversion of Municipal Council into a Municipal Corporation.

After this decision of the government, the development of the industrial and textile city of Bhilwara will gain momentum. There was an atmosphere of celebration among the workers of political parties and public representatives in Bhilwara after the notification of formation of Municipal Corporation was issued. Rakesh Pathak, the first mayor of Bhilwara Municipal Corporation, said that the state government has decided to upgrade Bhilwara from Municipal Council to Municipal Corporation on the basis of the increasing expansion and population of the city.

The formation of a municipal corporation was announced in the budget

Let us tell you that this time in the budget, Finance Minister Diya Kumari had announced to convert Bhilwara Municipal Council into Municipal Corporation. After this announcement of the government, there was hope of industrial development of textile city Bhilwara getting a boost. Apart from the announcement of forming Municipal Corporation, it was announced to give Rs. 150 crore for traffic management in Bhilwara.

Municipality formed in 1935

The textile city of Bhilwara was included in the list of municipal bodies for the first time in 1935. Then Bhilwara was given the status of Nagar Palika. In 1971, the then government gave Bhilwara the status of Nagar Parishad. With the gift of Nagar Parishad, Banshilal Patwa became the first chairman of Bhilwara. Patwa started his political career as Nagar Parishad President. After this, he was also elected MLA from Bhilwara twice.
