CM Vishnudev Sai met the Home Minister, discussed many issues including development, security of the state

New Delhi, November 20 (IANS). Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Wednesday. He has also shared the picture of this meeting on social media platform X. CM Vishnudev Sai said that development, security and other major issues of the state were discussed in the meeting. During this, CM Vishnudev Sai informed Home Minister Amit Shah about the progress of the operations being conducted in Naxal affected areas and the action of security forces.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has taken many important steps in the fields of road construction, education, health and employment, which are bringing positive changes in these areas. Home Minister Amit Shah appreciated these efforts and assured all possible cooperation from the Centre. Naxal eradication strategies were also discussed in the meeting.

CM Vishnudev Sai said that under the guidance of Home Minister Amit Shah, the fight against Naxalism is being fought strongly in Chhattisgarh. On the security front, our government has achieved great success in anti-Naxal operations. In the last 11 months, about 200 Naxalites have been killed, while 742 Naxalites have surrendered. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Home Minister, our government is taking steps towards the resolution of eliminating Naxalism by March 2026.

He said that the Central Government is committed to security and development in the state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured Chhattisgarh government of all possible cooperation against Naxalism.
