Jaipur : The Greater Municipal Corporation of the capital Jaipur is preparing to collect garbage collection fee from about three lakh houses in five zones. A tender has been issued for this. It is believed that the tender process will be completed before 15 August and after that the corporation will start collecting user charges. Currently, garbage collection fee is being collected in only two out of seven zones of the Greater Corporation (Muralipura and Malviya Nagar).
However, this time instead of the garbage collection company, the corporation has issued a separate tender. The corporation will collect user charges from the company that takes the minimum service charge. Talking about the present time, the Greater Municipal Corporation spends seven crore rupees per month on garbage collection. Based on the plan prepared by Jaipur Corporation, this money will be obtained from user charges. Garage branch Deputy Commissioner Atul Sharma said that the process of collecting user charges is going on. The tender process will be completed by August 15 and after that the team will collect user charges.
