Congress has decided candidates for seven seats, will announce the candidate soon

Jaipur : Voting will be held on November 13 for the by-elections on seven assembly seats in Rajasthan. The nomination process for all seven seats has started and will be held till the last date of 25th October. In view of the by-elections, except 84 seats, BJP has declared candidates for the remaining 6 seats. Bharat Adivasi Party also declared candidates on two seats. The announcement of Congress candidates is being awaited. However, an important meeting was held in the PCC war room on Monday (21 October). It is being said that the party has selected the candidates.

Many senior leaders including Govind Singh Dotasara, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Ashok Gehlot, Tikaram Julie, CP Joshi were present in the meeting held in the PCC War Room. However, questions are being raised over the absence of Sachin Pilot. It is being told that the by-election strategy was discussed in the meeting and the list of candidates has also been finalized.

Congress will contest elections on all seven seats

After the meeting, Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara announced that the party will not form an alliance with anyone on all seven seats. Because no regional party has contacted us nor have we contacted them. Dotasara said that the matter of India alliance is at the central level and not in Rajasthan by-election. Therefore, we have decided our candidates on all seven seats. He also said that the names of the candidates will now be sent to the high command, where a final decision will be taken.

Protest before announcement of candidate

On one hand, many leaders are seen in rebellious mood in Jhunjhunu seat. Here different communities are claiming their own tickets. On the other hand, Naresh Meena was seen protesting against the party regarding the ticket. He was seen raising slogans with his supporters outside the PCC war room in Jaipur. Let us tell you, elections are going to be held on seven seats in Rajasthan, Deoli Uniara, Jhunjhunu, Dausa, Khinvsar, Chaurasi, Salumber and Ramgarh assembly seats. Voting will be held on 13 November. Whereas the results will be released on 23rd November.
