It is estimated that more than 3 thousand quintals of Gajak-Sesame product will be sold in winter. The peak season of winter is from December to February. During this period, the sales of various products made from gajak and sesame are highest. These products are available in Ramganj, Kesarganj, Madargate, Naya Bazaar, Purani Mandi and other places in the city.

White Chocolate- Spring Roll Gajak

Many varieties of Gajak are available in the market. It includes white chocolate, spring roll, vanilla flavour. Apart from this, Pakija Gajak, Jaggery and Sugar Free Gajak, Cutlet and Roll Gajak are also very much liked. According to seller Mahavir Prasad, the new varieties are becoming popular among the youth and others. Dry fruits like cashews, pistachios, almonds, walnuts are also being added to Gajak. Chamcham Gajak, Pishta Roll Gajak, Soan Gajak, Akhroth Gajak are also very popular.

Demand for sesame laddus

Demand for sesame laddus increases in winter. Apart from the simple laddus made from jaggery and sugar, dry fruit laddus are also quite popular. The demand for laddus made from white and black sesame seeds extends even abroad. Varieties of cocktail, chocolate, dates, figs and raisins with sesame laddus are also being provided.
