Tonk : To commemorate the foundation day of the princely state of Tonk, a seminar was organized at the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad Arabic-Persian Research Institute. Emphasis was also laid on promoting technical education.
While reading their papers in the seminar, the speakers said that apart from Tonk being the center of Ganga-Jamuni culture, many examples of unity and brotherhood are found here. Along with the many architectural arts presented here including Sunehri Kothi, APRI, the Namda workmanship here is also very good. Besides, light was also thrown on the legacies of the princely period and their national values.
