Bundi : The reasons for the death of two children in the fire incident that took place about fifty days ago in Talwas of Bundi district have not been revealed. Recently, in the report submitted by the Additional Superintendent of Police to the SP, the fire incident has been described as an accidental incident, on which the family members had protested recently and had also protested. Now Additional Superintendent of Police Women Research Cell Jasveer Singh is investigating the case. According to the information, on October 2, a fire broke out in a room of Gurukul located near Talwas town, in which three students suffered burn injuries, including Ritesh (13), 90 percent. Shiv Shankar (14) suffered 60 percent burns and Abhijeet Sharma suffered 20 percent burns.
Sitaram Pancholi, associated with Gurukul management, took all the injured to Nainwan Hospital. Later he was admitted to the burn ward of Kota MBS Hospital. Shivshankar and Ritesh died during treatment. For several days after the incident, family members and villagers submitted memorandums to the local administration and the Speaker of the Lok Sabha demanding investigation into the matter and punishment to the two culprits. Even Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla visited the deceased’s house in Bundi and consoled him. The family members were angry when charges were not framed even after 45 days in the case.
During the incident, at around 12 o’clock in the night, a photo of Ritesh being burnt in the fire was sent to him. In this he was burnt only ten percent. During this time, he was burnt only on his chest, neck and hands, but after getting information at 3 o’clock in the night, it was found that he was burnt more than 70 percent, which is not possible. The investigating officer is not taking this matter seriously. Police and investigating officers still do not have some questions. In such a situation, a protest had to be held.
